According to the Virginia State Police, it was a single-vehicle fatal crash.
There are no injuries reported and the children were seen exiting the vehicle

State and local police, as well as local rescue units, responded to nearly 100 accidents during Wednesday’s morning commute.
There were no injuries and no other vehicles involved.
Motorists are encouraged to use an alternate route until further notice, according to VDOT.
State police said the injured driver was alert and talking to troopers on scene.
Police say the accident happened around 1:30 a.m. on I-95 southbound just south of Chippenham Parkway.
VDOT says that there is a crash on scene there along with downed power lines on Hermitage Road.
