Police say they found a man shot to death inside a car in the 1100 block of Old Williamsburg Road near RIC on Friday night.
Police say the suspect vehicle, a dark-colored sedan, fled the scene.
Police said the male suspect entered the store, approached an employee and then produced a note demanding money.
An employee was injured during the robbery, but is expected to be OK.
All three victims stated that their cars were locked, although police say there were no signs of forced entry.
Police are now investigating and say the dog has been quarantined.
Police say shots were fired following an altercation in the 100 block of Clearfield Circle last week.
The incident occurred Sunday at approximately 6:05 p.m. on I-95 north in Chesterfield County.
TSA officers detected the firearm, a small .22 caliber handgun, in a man’s carry-on bag as he was passing through the airport checkpoint.
Police said the man entered the store, approached an employee and then produced a note demanding money.
Police say officers were called o the 1900 block of Raven Street in reference to a shooting around 5:49 p.m. on March 24.
Through investigation, the suspect was identified as 22-year-old Dequante T. Roney.
He was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
