RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The latest information on University of Richmond’s game vs. Robert Morris University:
The University of Richmond Men’s Basketball team prepares for the upcoming Barclays Center Classic tournament Sunday afternoon with a home game against Robert Morris University.
The game starts at 1:30 p.m. and is taking place in the Robins Center.
The game will mark the first meeting ever between the Colonials and the Spiders.
U of R’s ShawnDre’ Jones is coming off of an Atlantic 10 Player of the Week performance last week in which he went for 31 points against VMI and 23 against ODU. He is currently ranked 12th in the nation in scoring per game.
Sunday also marks Harry Potter Day at the Robins Center and will feature activities to go along with the release of a new Harry Potter movie.
The game will air on Comcast SportsNet Plus throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, including locally. Those looking to stream the game online can find it at Atlantic10.com. Bob Black and Sean Robertson will be calling it.
And for those that prefer listening to the game, it can be heard on ESPN 950 AM and 107.3 BBT FM, as well as streamed on RichmondSpiders.com. Robert Fish and Matt Smith will be making the calls over the air.
The Spiders are 1-1 entering the game, coming off of a 64-61 loss to ODU. Robert Morris is 0-3 after losing to 75-62 to Bucknell.
