Southbound lanes on Lee Bridge in Richmond back open after accident

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The southbound lanes of the Lee Bridge in Richmond are back open after a single car accident.

Richmond police say the accident caused power lines to fall down on the bridge.

Dominion Power is responding to fix the power lines. Police tell 8News it will be “a while” before the southbound lanes are reopened.

One person was transported to the hospital after the crash but is expected to be okay.
