SPRINGFIELD, Missouri (KOLR) — Police say a Missouri man recently sexually assaulted a teenage girl after the girl fell unconscious.

Jordan Gilbert, 22, was charged Tuesday with first-degree sodomy and sexual misconduct following accusations of inappropriate behavior with two teenagers.

A probable cause statement says a girl told investigators she recently passed out while watching a movie at Gilbert’s house and later woke up with her pants pulled down to her knees.

Gilbert allegedly told police he gave the girl alcohol and then pulled the girl’s pants down and had sex with her while it appeared she was asleep.

Another girl also recently told investigators she fell asleep while watching a movie with Gilbert in 2016 and woke up with her pants down, according to the statement.

The statement says Gilbert told investigators in that case he pulled down the girl’s pants and then masturbated.

Gilbert is being held in the Greene County Jail on $100,000 bond. He does not have an attorney listed for this case.

First-degree sodomy is an unclassified felony that carries a possible life sentence. It is defined as “deviate sexual intercourse with another person who is incapacitated, incapable of consent, or lacks the capacity to consent.”
