2 people seriously injured in crash in Waynesboro, Virginia

WAYNESBORO, Va. (WRIC) — Police in Waynesboro, Virginia responded early Sunday to a major accident that happened on West Main Street in the town.

An adult and a juvenile were transported to UVA Medical facilities to be treated for serious injuries. Their condition is currently unknown.

Police said the incident happened when the vehicle the two occupants were riding in left the roadway and hit a utility pole.

The Waynesboro Police Department is asking for any witnesses to the crash that were on scene but did not get to speak to an officer to please contact Officer R. Dean at (540)-942-6675.
