WAVY started receiving images from viewers in Cape Charles around 9 a.m.
One viewer said on Facebook the Cape Charles waterspout dissipated, but two more started to form. A video appeared to show multiple waterspouts forming in the distance.
More viewers sent in images shortly thereafter of more waterspouts closer to the Ocean View and Hampton areas. The twisters appeared to be from isolated clouds over the bay.
