Henrico Police arrest man who they say shot & killed 16-year-old in April

Roger Craig Brown III, 20, from Chesterfield, was arrested and charged with2nd degree murder in the death of Jamaa Khalik Scott

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Henrico County Police have arrested a man who they say shot and killed 16-year-old Jamaa Khalik Scott in April.

The incident happened April 11 in the 2800 block of Willliamsburg Road in Henrico County. Police found Scott suffering from a gunshot wound and took him to a hospital where he later died.

Police said the shooting happened outside Montrose Elementary School.

Henrico Police arrested Roger Craig Brown III, 20, from Chesterfield County. Brown has been charged with 2nd degree murder and is currently incarcerated in the Henrico County Jail.
