Online grocery delivery service launching in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Amidst all the new grocery stores coming to Central Virginia, you can now stay home and have your groceries delivered.

Instacart is coming to the Richmond area. It’s an online delivery service that will bring you your groceries from your favorite stores.

The service starts on July 12 and new customers can get a one-year subscription for free.

Areas of service include all of Richmond, Rockville, Wingmead, Glen Allen,  Short Pump, Wyndham, Dumbarton, Lakeside, Laurel, Henrico, Tuckahoe, Manakin-Sabot, Lorraine, Bon Air, Midlothian, Hallsboro, Woodlake and Chesterfield Court House.
