HOPEWELL, Va. (WRIC) — The Hopewell Police are asking the public to help locate a missing Hopewell man.
Police say on June 30, family members reported that they last saw David Custer, 29, leave his home in the 300 block of S. 18th Avenue early that morning on foot to go to a nearby bank. Custer recently moved from the city of Richmond and is unfamiliar with Hopewell, police say.
According to police, he has suffered from depression in the past; however, he was last observed in good spirits.
Hopewell police say they do not suspect foul play but are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Custer.
He’s described by police as a white male, 5 foot 3 inches tall, 220 pounds with green/hazel eyes and blonde hair. He was seen wearing a black t-shirt with blue jean shorts.
