Man shot, but conscious and breathing in Richmond’s south side

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Richmond Police are reporting that a man was shot Friday afternoon in the city’s south side.

Police said they got the call about the shooting at around 1:10 p.m. and promptly responded to the 1800 block of Joplin Avenue.

When they arrived, they found a man shot, but conscious and breathing.

Police are currently at the scene but were unable to provide a suspect description at this time.
