RPD looking for man who they say shot into occupied house

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Richmond Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man who they say committed an attempted murder in the city’s Northside back in April.

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding Keon K. Martin.

In a release, police said that at 10:30 p.m. on April 24, Martin shot into an occupied home in the 4000 block of North Avenue.

A bystander then approached Martin and grabbed the gun in an attempt to point it away from the house. During the scuffle that ensued, another shot was fired and Martin fled the scene.

Police describe Martin as a black male with a medium complexion and short black hair. He is 5’11” tall and weighs about 210 pounds. He also has a snake tattoo on his lower forearm.
