RPD investigating after male victim shot in arm on city’s south side

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Richmond Police are investigating after a male victim was shot in the arm just before noon Sunday.

Police said that they got the call at 11:55 a.m. and when they responded to the 1400 block of Lynhaven Avenue, they found a male of unknown age suffering from a bullet wound to the arm.

They transported the male to VCU Medical Center, but said that his injuries were believed to be non-life-threatening.

Police are currently interviewing the suspect and canvassing the neighborhood for leads about what led up to the shooting.
