RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Virginia State Police are reminding motorists to move over in the sweetest way.

VSP tweeted a photo of Sgt. J.D. Moses and his family with their signs saying “daddy is our hero” and “his life matters.”

They say to remember to move over for all first responders on the roads.

“Offices are fast paced but even more so when they’re on the roadside,” the caption said.

According to the FBI, 128 law enforcement officers were hit along the roadside between 2006 and 2015.
