RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — In honor of Bring Your Dog to Work Day, multiple city departments will host Richmond Animal Care and Control (RACC) dogs on Friday.

The Mayor’s Office, Richmond Police Department, City of Richmond, VA Fire Department, Richmond Va Department of Public Utilities, Department of Public Works, Department of Human Resources, Risk Management and the Main Library are all set to participate in the fun.

RACC says the goal of Friday is to spread the word about the animals in need and to hopefully have a few of their dogs get adopted in the process.

“It’s official. The City of Richmond, Virginia rocks,” RACC said in a Facebook post. “Friday just might be the best day ever in the City of Richmond.”
