VIDEO: Richmond Police seek package theft suspect

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Richmond Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect who stole packages from a home in the city’s west end earlier this month.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday, June 7, in the Three Chopt neighborhood near St. Christopher’s School. Police say an unknown male walked up to the door of a residence in the 600 block of St. Christopher’s Road and took two packages. The suspect later returned to the residence at around midnight and took additional packages.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 30s to early 40s with short brown hair, a clean-shaven face. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a blue baseball hat, light blue or grey T-Shirt, blue jeans and a backpack.
