Driver charged with reckless driving after pinning 2 women with car at Richmond Kickers game

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A scary situation occurred Saturday night at the Richmond Kickers game when two women were pinned between a car and a railing.

Bystanders wasted no time in running to the rescue to push the car off of the pedestrians.

We don’t know exactly what led up to the incident but we are told that the two victims were treated by paramedics at the game and taken to VCU Medical Center.

Police said that the women suffered minor injuries to the pelvis and back and that they believed the incident was an accident.

However, police also said that the driver was charged with reckless driving in the incident.
