RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Three firefighters suffered injuries while battling a two-alarm house fire in Richmond’s north side Friday.
The fire was marked under control at 12:15 p.m.
Officials said that two-story home is located in the 2800 block of Griffin Avenue.
Crews said that heavy smoke and fire were visible when they arrived. Firefighters are currently conducting an extensive attack from the outside.
Officials said that all three injuries were minor, but that two of the firefighters were transported to the hospital. The third firefighter was treated at the scene.
The American Red Cross is assisting two people who were displaced.
