8News At the Box Office: ‘Cars 3,’ ‘All Eyez on Me,’ ‘Rough Night’ and ’47 Meters Down’

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Some of Disney’s most popular animated characters are racing back onto the big screen this weekend.

Lightning McQueen is back, but his flashy performances on the track have started to dim just a bit. Voiced again by Owen Wilson, he’s now having a hard time competing with the newer, faster race cars. But a young race technician, voiced by Cristela Alonzo, may have what it takes to get him back in the winner’s circle. Co-starring the voices of John Ratzenberger, Kerry Washington and Larry the Cable Guy. “Cars 3” is rated PG.
