Richmond resident hospitalized after suffering burns in house fire

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A Richmond resident was transported to the hospital with burn injuries Friday, suffered in a house fire.

Richmond firefighters responded to the scene in the 2600 block of Norwood Court shortly after noon.

When they arrived, they found a single occupant outside, suffering from burns.

The Richmond Ambulance Authority responded to assist and eventually determined that the person should be evacuated to the hospital.

The person’s condition is not known at this time.
