Overnight shooting in Richmond sends one to the hospital

RICHMOND,Va. (WRIC) — One man was taken to the hospital early Sunday morning with life-threatening injuries after a shooting in Richmond’s south side.

Richmond Police were called to the scene in the 4000 block of Jefferson Davis Highway around 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

Once there, they found a man with a gunshot wound to the chest.

No other details have been released.
