Police ID man found shot to death in Richmond’s northside

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Police in Richmond are investigating after a man was found shot to death in the city’s northside on Monday night.

“At which point does common sense prevail for those who are out here committing these violent acts? It has to stop.”

Police say they were called to the 3100 block of Carolina Avenue shortly before 10 p.m. When they arrived, they found an adult male suffering multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No suspect information is available at this time as police continue to investigate.

“Someone has lost a loved one. Someone has lost a life and it is very unfortunate,” said Richmond Police Chief Alfred Durham. “At which point does common sense prevail for those who are out here committing these violent acts? It has to stop.”

Detectives have identified the victim of Monday night’s homicide as Bryant C. Bogle, 33, of the 100 block of Engleside Drive, Henrico.
