Prayer vigil being held Sunday night to remember East End homicide victim

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A candlelight prayer vigil is being held Sunday at 5:30 p.m. for Jahmeiqua Philips.

Philips was shot and killed last Sunday in Richmond’s east end.

United Communities Against Crime is hosting the vigil tonight at 5:30 p.m. on Q Street across from MLK Middle School.

Attendees are asked to bring candles and black and white balloons.
