Papa John’s serves 3,000 pizzas to troops travelling through RIC airport

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Papa Johns is serving pizza to troops this weekend at Richmond International Airport’s USO center.

The free pizzas are available as a thank you to troops for serving as they travel home for the holidays.

Dec. 17 and 18 are the two busiest travel days of the year for troops.

The group is prepared to serve up to 3,000 pizzas over the course of Saturday and Sunday.
