ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) – A Clearwater man is accused of stealing another man’s clothes and possessions during an armed robbery in St. Petersburg on Friday.
Armed with a handgun, Pinellas deputies say Christopher Wright, 26, robbed a man in the 3000 block of 40th Avenue North in St. Petersburg. That’s when Wright knocked the male victim unconscious, and with the help of another man, Daijion Drayton, began taking off the victim’s clothes until he was naked.
Authorities say the duo took the victim’s cell phone and clothes before leaving the scene.
PCSO arrested Wright, charging him with robbery and burglary with a deadly weapon, felony possession of a firearm, and possession of crack cocaine. Deputies have not yet arrested or charged Drayton.
