Prayer vigil to be held for man shot in Dinwiddie County robbery

DINWIDDIE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A prayer vigil is being held tonight for a man who was shot at the quick-mart in Dinwiddie County.

Chauncy Jones was at the store checking on his family members who were working when the store was robbed.

The vigil is to show support for Jones and the town of McKenney where the incident took place.

The vigil will take place Saturday night at 5 p.m. at “The Barber Shop” on Boyle Road.
