Police searching for suspect in north Richmond shooting

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Richmond Police are looking for suspects in a shooting that took place in Richmond’s northside Saturday afternoon.

The shooting occurred after 4 p.m. in the 100 block of East Brookland Park Boulevard.

A vehicle pulled up to a building in the area and a person fired shots from within, striking a business as well as another vehicle outside.

The suspect’s vehicle was located not far from the shooting, but no suspect has been apprehended. The investigation is ongoing.
