HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A third person has been arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit murder in connection with an incident that took place in January in the county.
Tashema Alyssa Peace was recently arrested and charged in connection with the shooting murder of a man that took place in the 2700 block of Byron Street. When police responded to the scene back in January, they found Dejon Wagstaff suffering gunshot wounds in the driver’s seat of a vehicle that had crashed.
Wagstaff was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
Peace is the third person arrested in connection with the murder.
Police had previously arrested Steven Parson and Timothy Garrison Jr. Both were charged with first-degree murder, use of a firearm in committing a felony and other charges.
