Beyonce leads Grammys with 9 nominations; Drake, Rihanna, Kanye West each score 8

NEW YORK (ABC/AP) — Nominations for the 2017 Grammy Awards were announced Tuesday morning.

Hit-makers like Drake, Beyonce, Rihanna and newcomers like The Chainsmokers were among the nominees. Beyonce led the field with nine total nominations.

The 59th annual Grammy Awards will take place on Sunday, Feb. 12, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
