RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Workers in Richmond are planning on participating in a National Day of Disruption.
On Tuesday, consumers can expect to see fast food workers among others holding rallies around the Richmond area.
Airport workers across the country also plan to strike that day in their fight for higher wages.
Protesters are asking for a $15 minimum wage and a union.
Two rallies will be taking place in Richmond.
At 6 a.m., there is a rally planned at the McDonalds on West Broad Street near Boulevard.
Then, at 5 p.m., a rally and march will begin on North First Street.
