CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Today, you can celebrate Thanksgiving the way they did in the 1600s, at Henricus Historical Park in Chesterfield County.
The event will feature historical interpreters, cooking, games and music at the Autumn Harvest Feast.
The event began today at 10 a.m. and continues until 5 p.m.
Henricus was the location of the second successful British colony in the New World. The colony was founded in 1611, shortly after Jamestown, in what is now Chesterfield County.
