Man robs Henrico County Rite Aid of cash, prescription medication

According to police, "These photographs are from another business the suspect frequented."

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Police are searching for the suspect who robbed an Henrico Rite Aid Pharmacy at gunpoint Thursday afternoon.

Police said on November 24, at approximately 12 p.m., a white male entered the Rite Aid Pharmacy located in the 5500 block of Lakeside Avenue.

The suspect brandished a silver semi-automatic handgun and demanded cash and prescription medication, according to police. The employee complied and the suspect fled the business.

No injuries were reported because of the robbery.

The subject is described by police as a white male, 30-40 years old, 5’8-5’10, 200-225 pounds, blondish hair, and a thin mustache.

He was wearing a brown baseball hat, brown zip-up jacket, and blue jeans.

Police are continuing to investigate.
