Steve Harvey teams up with Richmond Sheriff’s Office to feed less fortunate

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Steve Harvey Morning Show on 106.5 the Beat has joined forces with various charitable organizations and the Richmond City Sheriff’s Office to distribute 100 Turkeys to the less fortunate in Richmond and the Tri-Cities this holiday season.

This distribution will take place on the following dates and times:

  • Turkeys will be distributed Tuesday, November 22, to pre-selected organizations and individuals at the Walmart located at 7901 Brook Road from 8 a.m.- 10 a.m. (In order to qualify, organizations had to register here).
  • Lastly, Tuesday, November 22 from noon – 2 p.m., 106.5 the Beat will join Sheriff CT Woody for a Turkey distribution throughout the City of Richmond. They will be briefly meeting at the Richmond Justice Center, 1701 Fairfield Way, at 11:30 a.m. before distribution.

The Steve Harvey Morning show say they are honored to be able to support a community that has supported them over the years.
