VCU’s leadership taking form

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A week ago VCU head coach Will Wade was honest with media, “I don’t know if we’ll be ready for UNC Asheville. I usually have all the answers, I don’t have the answers right now.”

He may not have “all” of them yet, but he’s got some to work with after a 2-0 start following the weekend.

The Rams defeated UNC Asheville 80-65 last Friday, then went on the road Tuesday night for a tough fought victory over Liberty 64-59.

A part of the good start to the season has been the senior leadership taking the reins of the team to get the most out of all the players.

VCU is back home at the Siegel Center Friday, November 18th against Binghamton for a 7:00 p.m. tip-off.
