The Monacan High School senior, the No. 1 nationally ranked recruit in the Class of 2017, announced in front of fellow students, friends, family and the media she will be attending the University of Connecticut for college.
“Just an awesome opportunity to play with a legendary coach and further my career,” says Walker.
The 6’1″ wing chose UConn over Texas and Notre Dame.

Bird football program in the 5A from 2012 – 2014.
