RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Police are continuing to look for a woman and handguns that were taken in connection to a robbery and abduction that occurred over the summer in Henrico County.
One suspect, Ricky S. Coleman, is already behind bars being held without bond at Richmond City Jail on multiple charges, including robbery and abduction.
Back in July, two adult males gave a ride to Coleman and the unknown female acquaintance in Henrico County. The four individuals were driving along Interstate 64 at the I-95 interchange in Richmond. At roughly 6 p.m., police say Coleman took a pistol from the male passenger and held the driver at gunpoint, forcing him to drive to Eastern Henrico. When Coleman and his female companion reached Darbytown Road, they exited the vehicle and fled on foot.
Virginia State Police arrested Coleman in September on charges related to the crime.
Now, authorities are still trying to locate the female suspect as well as the two stolen handguns: A Smith & Wesson 9 mm with a camouflage side and a black H&K VP40. State Police are also asking for the public’s assistance with identifying the woman who accompanied Coleman in the vehicle. The female is described as African American, 5’4-5’5, weighing 140 Ibs. with brown eyes.
Anyone with information about the robbery, the female accomplice and/or the handguns is asked to call the State Police at (804)-553-3445 or #77 and by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
