Driver arrested in Henrico County after leading police on chase

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A driver was arrested in Henrico County early Sunday morning after leading police on a chase.

The chase happened after State Police tried to stop Dymonick Edmonson who was said to be speeding.

The chase continued for miles before ending when Edmonson drove into the yard of a home in the 4200 block of Valley Side Drive in East End Henrico.

After stopping, Edmonson ran from police, but officers were able to track him down using K9’s, which led to his arrest.

Edmonson now is being charged with felony eluding, reckless driving, damaging a trooper’s car and driving on a suspended license.
