Richmond, Va. (WRIC) — A recall is in effect for 2.8 million Samsung top-load washing machines because the top can suddenly come off.
Samsung has already received 733 reports of the washers either vibrating excessively or the top detaching. Nine injuries have also been reported, including a broken jaw and injured shoulder.
The washing machines were sold at Best Buy, The Home Depot, Lowes, Sears and other home appliance stores across the nation. If you have one of the 34 models recalled, contact Samsung immediately for a choice of remedies.
