RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The regular season finale to this year’s high school football season features a rivalry game that will determine the champion of Hanover county.
“The Tomato Bowl” between No. 9 Lee-Davis and Patrick Henry is one of the oldest high school rivalries in the state of Virginia. The two schools are considered the “old” county schools when compared to their “new” county school rivals Atlee and Hanover.
Friday night, the Confederates and Patriots enter with the same record of 7-2 this season.
