FCS Roundup: JMU trying not to “do too much” while Tribe on salvage mission

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — For the biggest match up in FCS this weekend look no further than Richmond, Va. The JMU-Richmond tilt is once again the focus of Division One’s lower level after hosting ESPN’s College GameDay in 2015.

JMU comes in after setting multiple offensive records in a blowout win over Rhode Island. Richmond had its bye week before facing the Dukes.

Meanwhile, William and Mary is trying to salvage its season. The Tribe lost a close game at home to Maine Saturday thanks to a late turnover. This coming Saturday William and Mary will travel to Long Island to play at #25 Stony Brook. The Seawolves suffered their first CAA loss of the season Saturday at New Hampshire, but they still have a shot at winning the conference if they can win out. William and Mary can spoil that.
