STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a woman was dragged out of her vehicle and sexually assaulted on the side of a road in Stafford County early Monday morning.
According to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office, the victim was traveling in the area of Kings Highway and Sherwood Forest Farm Road when her vehicle was struck by another car sometime between 2:45-3:15 a.m. After the accident, an unknown male removed the victim from her vehicle and dragged her into a ditch off the roadway and sexually assaulted her over a two-hour period.
Once the suspect left the area, the victim walked back to her vehicle and call 911 from her cell phone.
The suspect, who spoke Spanish and broken English, is described as an approximately 30-year-old, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-9 Hispanic male weighing roughly 170 to 180 pounds with black hair and a short black beard. He was wearing light-colored blue jeans and a sleeveless white tank top under an orange, blue and white plaid long-sleeved shirt. The suspect vehicle was described as a dark-colored SUV and traveled eastbound on Kings Highway after leaving the scene.

The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the suspect’s identity and to hear from anyone who may have seen anything suspicious between the hours of 2:30 and 5 a.m. along Kings Highway between Forest Lane Road and Michael Scott Lane, (the entrance road to the water treatment plant).
