Roof collapses in Prince George fire; no injuries reported

PRINCE GEORGE, Va. (WRIC) — The roof of a two-story home located in Prince George County has collapsed after the building caught fire Sunday morning, according to the Prince George Fire Department.

Fire crews got the call around 8:45 a.m. Sunday and arrived on the scene within ten minutes to find the house fully engulfed in fire.

Neighbors told police that no people were inside the house at the time of the fire.

The home was located in the 4800 block of Redgate Drive.

The fire is currently being investigated, as units are still at the scene doing an overhaul.
