RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The 12th annual Richmond Zombie walk was held today in Carytown as hundreds of volunteers trudged through the shopping district to have fun and celebrate Halloween, but to also raise money for a good cause.
The event began Saturday at 2:30 p.m. when participants met up outside of the building formerly known as Dixie Donuts to limp up and down Cary Street.
According to the organizer’s website, the Richmond Zombie Walk has been able to collect hundreds of dollars each year thanks to the generosity of its zombies.
8News was there to get video of the event. Tune in tonight at 11 for more.
