Two arrested in Caroline County drug raid

CAROLINE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Caroline County Sheriff’s Office investigators arrested two men after they raided a house and discovered and seized methamphetamine, heroin and marijuana at a Ruther Glen house.

The incident occurred at 951 Swan Lane.

Investigators also reported seizing plastic baggies, digital weight scales and numerous smoking devices.

Troy “Bo” Johnson, 54, and Charles “Bull” Davis III, 27, were charged with drug possession. Johnson was also charged with distributing methamphetamine and possessing methamphetamine with the intent to distribute.

Johnson is being held without bond at the Pamunkey Regional Jail.

Davis is being held on $2,500 bond, also at the Pamunkey Jail.

Sheriff Tony Lippay spoke about the arrest.

“Your Caroline Sherriff’s Office is vigilant in the fight against crime. I thank our citizens who continue to provide information and the dedicated men and women of this Sheriff’s Office for their continued efforts to rid Caroline County of crime,” Lippa said. “Together we are making Caroline County a safer place to live, work and raise a family.”

The investigation is on-going and no further information will be released at this time.
