Henrico County food delivery man turns the tables on attempted robber

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A Henrico County delivery man turned the tables on a group of men who attempted to rob him late Friday evening.

“I was sitting at the dining room table playing a game of solitaire, then we heard two or three gunshots. Sounded real close,” said a woman who lives nearby.

This woman, asking us not to use her name, lives on Keeton Road where the incident occurred Friday night.

Around 11 p.m., someone called the driver to a house on this block. When he arrived, the suspects came toward him.

Little did they know the driver was armed with a handgun of his own.

He pulled it out, firing at the suspects and scaring them away.

“I say good for him. I’m glad he protected himself,” the woman said.

One of the suspects, a minor, was hit, but his injuries were non-life-threatening.

The investigation led police to arrest Mouctar Bah, along with another suspect. Bah is in custody, but a third suspect remains on the run.
