RPD need help identifying a suspect in a recent robbery

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Richmond Police Department needs help identifying a man who they say is a suspect in a robbery at the Shockoe Valley Market.

The robbery occurred Wednesday at 1:15 p.m. The suspect walked into the convenience store located at 311 North 18th Street, brandished a firearm and robbed a store employee of cash and a box of cigars.

The man then fled on foot eastbound on East Marshall Street. No people were injured in the incident.

Anyone with any information about these individuals or their whereabouts is asked to call First Precinct Detective Brian Taylor at (804) 646-0689 or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000. Citizens can also text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key word “ITip” followed by your tip or submit a tip online at www.7801000.com.
