RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Thursday is a very special day! It’s Baby Buns’ first birthday!
Kaleb Graves, the young Dinwiddie boy was born premature and spent the first 356 days of his life in the hospital.
He finally went home last week where he will celebrate his special day.
It all started with a viral video of Baby Buns’ father sobbing when he learned he was going to be a dad.
Since then, thousands have been following the family’s incredible journey and celebrated with them after young Kaleb was taken off a breathing tube, took his first bath, successfully completed heart surgery and much more.
Last week, 8News reporter Kristin Smith rode home in a limo with Baby Buns from VCU Medical Center. She did a Facebook Live to help share the exciting moment with all of his loyal supporters.
Smith also spent most of the day with the family as they rejoiced having their precious baby boy home.
Everyone at 8News wishes Baby Buns a very happy day!
