Local movie theaters to show presidential debate for free

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A few local movie theaters are screening tonight’s presidential debate 9 pm.

Those theaters include the Regal Virginia Center Stadium in Glen Allen, Virginia and the Regal Westchester Commons Stadium in Midlothian, Virginia.

Regal Entertainment Group is offering guests a last chance to watch the two candidates go head-to-head

Guests who attend the free screenings can receive a small soda with any popcorn purchase.

“After the success of airing the last debate, including many full auditoriums, we want to continue to encourage our local communities to be engaged in public policy and provide Regal guests the unique opportunity to experience the political process on the big screen,” said Steve Bunnell, Chief Content and Programming Officer at Regal Entertainment Group.

The third and final presidential debate takes place Wednesday, October 19 at 9 p.m. EST at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
