COLUMBUS (WCMH) — A suspect wanted in connection with a car break-in and theft has provided police with a photo by taking a selfie with the phone he stole.
The suspect allegedly broke into someone’s car in Franklinton in early September. The passenger rear window was smashed in. Credit cards and a cell phone were stolen from the vehicle.
On October 14, police posted on Facebook that the suspect had provided them with a ‘picture-perfect image of himself’ after he used the stolen phone to take a selfie.
Police are now asking that anyone with information that could identify the man contact police.
