RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — ChamberRVA just conducted a large-scale survey to predict the results of the upcoming Richmond mayoral election. Their results found that while Joe Morrissey still leads in the race, the gap has narrowed, and two other candidates are polling close behind him.
According to the survey, if the election was held today, Joe Morrisey would receive 20 percent of the vote, Jack Berry would receive 17 percent, Lavar Stoney would receive 15 percent, Jon Baliles would receive 6 percent, Michelle Mosby would receive 4 percent. Bobby Junes and Lawrence Williams both received less than 1 percent of the vote in the poll.
The survey found that 38 percent of respondents were still undecided.
